Ardersier is a community united in their opposition to these proposals and as the local MP, I was keen to take the time to listen to the views of residents at a recent surgery in the village. Whilst I welcome the efforts of Scottish Water in hosting an information event, feedback was that it did not provide the detail and visual aids needed to fully understand the plans. On such a significant development, that will, ultimately impact everyone in the village, it is only right that local people are afforded the opportunity to properly consult on plans. The residents of Ardersier have my full support on wishing to see the proposals presented to them clear and concise manner alongside a robust consultation. I have, therefore, written to Scottish Water to request exactly this.
