The Black Isle Show is a must on the summer calendar and for good reason.
It is always a pleasure to go along and it was really great to see so many local producers at the show this year.
I certainly enjoyed sampling the offerings at the Kilted Fudge Company stall and got a chance to chat to Stephen Bruce from the Aviemore based business. When you see them at the next show, be sure to get your hands on some of the goodies on offer!
I also spent some time with Katrina Ashford Rose Cottage Country Kitchen of Nairn. Katrina was showcasing the award-winning range of home made Scottish jams, jellies, marmalades, chutneys, relishes and other preserves. A real treat for every household.
We are very lucky to have such a rich and diverse range of local producers in our constituency and across the Highlands. The summer show calendar provides the perfect opportunity to sample the very best of what is on offer.
