About Drew

Drew represented communities across Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey between 2015 and 2024, serving as the Member of Parliament at Westminster.

During his time in Westminster, Drew built a reputation as someone who worked hard for his constituents, secured significant investment for the region and promoted the Highland and Islands region.

Before his election to Westminster, Drew was Leader of the Highland Council, where he oversaw the implementation of the Living Wage at the local authority and the introduction of localised council committees to help improve representation across rural communities.

He also served as Vice President of Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR) between 2012 and 2015 and has been the Honorary Consul for Romania (Highlands and Islands) for over 11 years.
