It is a privilege to serve the people of Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey as their SNP Member of the UK Parliament. I am here to support you, your family and your community
The Highlands is already the best place to live and bring up a family, and we are well on our way to making it the best place to study and work with the development of the UHI and growth sectors such as renewables. I will continue to work with local communities and businesses to seek out new opportunities, continually moving our region forward. Together, even through these difficult economic times, we can build a fairer, greener and more prosperous future for the Highlands and our nation.
The Scottish Government are already building the foundations of a great nation – with equality and fairness embedded in the pillars of national policy. As the MP for Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch & Strathspey I will always promote these values and be a strong voice against harmful UK Government policies that threaten our national economy, household budgets and the welfare of those I am elected to serve and I will do all I can to ensure the UK Government are held to account on their duty to be a good global nation that puts human rights and fairness above trade and relationships.
